I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the age of 5 I came to the US. I was then raised in the Chicagoland area. Now I am in St. Louis, MO for school and am in my final semester at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. I am pursuing a BFA in Costume Construction with a second emphasis in Costume Design for Dance. My love for sewing started at the age of 14. The first thing I ever made was a dress for my American Girl doll. Then once I started competing in figure skating, I made a few of my dresses. I loved how my dresses helped bring to life the character I was trying to become. From then on, I wanted to help others bring their story to life by designing and making their costumes. I love patterning, draping, sewing, and rhinstoning. I am willing to do any sewing job that comes my way. I am a hard worker, who loves her art, and is always willing to learn something new.
